Damage Free Power Scaling of Copper Vapour Laser Pumped Ti:Sapphire lasers

Abstract

We report a 6.2 kHz pulsed Ti:sapphire laser producing over 4 W average power, transversely pumped by a copper vapour laser. Damage free power scaling is expected.
