Abstract

Up-conversion rate parameter is measured for the crystals YLF:Tm-Ho and YAG:Tm-Ho. In YLF:Tm-Ho up-conversion rate parameter does not depend on concentration and equals to 1.1×10−17 cm3/sec. In YAG:Tm-Ho this parameter is much larger and linearly grows with Tm concentration.
