Abstract

Nd:GdVO4 were grown by the Czochralski technique. Neodymium lifetime is 90µsec, absorption coefficient at 808 nm is more than 70 cm-1. Slope efficiency of diode pumped Nd:GdVO4 at 1.06 and 1.34µm is 54% and 26%, respectively.
