Phase Conjugate Laser Producing 1J at 532-mn with 80% Second-Harmonic-Generation Efficiency

Abstract

We achieved 80% frequency conversion efficiency, greater than 1 Joule at 532 nm, using two potassium titanyl phosphate (KTP) crystals in an alternatively reversed crystal axes (ARCA) format.
