High-Average-Power Second Harmonic Generation with KTiOPO4

Abstract

106 watts of average power at .532 um and 23 watts at .6594 um have been generated by intracavity frequency doubling a novel Q-switched Neodymium:YAG (Nd:YAG) laser resonator design employing KTiOPO4 or KTP (potassium titanyl phosphate).
