Abstract

In a Ho³⁺-doped fluorozirconate fibre laser emitting at 1.19 µm, a slope efficiency of 56 % and an output power of 350 mW with a pump power of 690 mW were attained at 77 K. At room temperature, the respective values were 47 % and 220 mW.
