Abstract

The Cr3+→Nd3+ energy transfer is not succeeded. What is the reason? S. Stokowkii attributed the reason to the back energy trnasfer from Cr3+ to Nd3+. In this paper, we investigated the processes of energy transfer and back energy transfer from Cr3−to Nd3+ and examined the possibility whether the Cr3+→Nd3+ energy transfer probability can be improved in glass.
