Abstract

We report the demonstration of scalable laser diode pumped cw 1.06 μm Nd:YAG laser configuration that combines the potential to reach high power level, a good beam a quality and a high efficiency Basically we use a longitudinally pumped system, where the gain medium is divided in several amplifier discs that are individually pumped.
