Abstract

An optogalvanic signal from the 1341.1686 nm 5s-3p He transition has allowed the wavelength of a diode-pumped temperature-tunable Nd3+:YAl03 laser to be set anywhere within its 1-nm tuning range with a long term stability of 1 pm.
