Abstract
Raman spectroscopy is a powerful diagnostic technique in gas analysis. Based on a home-made narrow line-width high power violet external cavity diode laser and a parabolic sample cell, sensitive Raman gas analysis is achieved. A 3 σ limit of detection of 39.5 ppm is demonstrated for C2H4 with exposure time of 100 s.
