Abstract

Terahertz-Time Domain Spectroscopy (THz-TDS) is a new technology that based on ultrafast femtosecond laser developed in the last ten years. It has important application foreground in biochemistry, material science, nondestructive examination and security check. In this paper, THz-TDS is used to analyze the spectrum of various brands of liquor in the 0-1.2THz frequency and to test the fingerprint characteristics of the samples. This study can not only assign the characteristic absorption of the sample, but also provide the absorption frequencies in wider effective spectra range. The experimental results show that THz-TDS can be used for the quality analysis and test of white wine as a method of terahertz generation and detection.
