Optical Fiber Liquid-Level Sensing Based on Self-Heated Optical Fiber and DPP-BOTDA

Abstract

A liquid-level sensor with a large range of 20cm and a resolution of 1cm is demonstrated, where the principle is to measure the temperature abruption position based on DPP-BOTDA with a self-heated high attenuation fiber.
