Abstract

We show analytically and numerically that the decay of the light intensity caused by linear absorption affects strongly the charachteristics of 2W-coupling enhanced by a moving light pattern as well as the characteristics of subharmonic generation in sillenites. Taking this effect into account is important both for optimization of the experimental conditions and for interpretation of the factual data.
