Implementation of polarization independent photorefractive ultrasonic sensor

Abstract

We describe both theoretically and experimentally a polarization independent ultrasonic sensor. The new two beam coupling configuration is based on the simultaneous recording of two independent gratings in a single photorefractive crystal.
