Recovery of Exoplanetary Signals in Re-dispersed Speckle Clutter

Abstract

We use a Wynne corrector to radially disperse images of exoplanets while shortening the stellar speckles. This results in a morphological difference between speckles and sources (circles vs. lines). We then apply a matched filter to the data.
