Unimorph Deformable Mirrors: From Technology Development to Applications in Lasers and Space Telescopes

Abstract

First, the technology of piezo-driven unimorph deformable mirrors will be reviewed. Then, two specific embodiments of unimorph deformable mirrors will be presented: One for high-power solid state lasers and one for space telescopes.
