Abstract

Dual wavelength measurements of frequency domain photon migration (FDPM) are used to monitor the changes in size distribution of a cell-debris suspension due to appearance of large granules in the effluent stream of a centrifugation process. The ratio of scattering coefficients at two distinct wavelengths is used as an indicator of changes in size distribution of this process stream.
