Abstract

The molecular metal chalcogenide complexes were demonstrated to have a wide application in semiconductor sensitized solar cells. (N2H4)3(N2H5)4Sn2Se6 complexes were synthesized in the hydrazine solution and then transformed into SnSe2 semiconductors on the surfaces of TiO2 nanocrystalline porous electrodes through a gentle heat treatment. The solution method to fabricate Cu2S counter electrode using N4H9Cu7S4 precursor shown a better performance than Pt counter electrode and Cu2S counter electrode fabricated from brass foil.
