Dispersion of bending Multimode Side-Polished Superstructure Fiber Gratings

Abstract

The group time delay of this device can be easily adjusted by different bending curvatures for applying in dispersion compensation of optical communications. As a bending sensor, sensitivity of side-polished MMF-SFG is better than SMF-SFG.
