Auto-Tuning PID controller based on Genetic Algorithms for the Bandwidth Allocation in LR-PONs

Abstract

A new bandwidth allocation algorithm for LR-EPONs based on a PID controller tuned with Genetic Algorithms is proposed to efficiently fulfill the subscribers’ bandwidth requirements.
