Abstract

A new bandwidth allocation algorithm for Long-Reach EPONs is proposed to provide subscriber differentiation by continuously readjusting the allocated bandwidth to each subscriber with the aim to fulfil every bandwidth requirement and to be independent of traffic conditions.
