Abstract

gamma-irradiated LiF:CC crystals proposed as novel material for volumetric Bragg grating (VBG), operating in mid-IR spectral range. Diffraction at 1.56 µm is clear demonstration of phase grating fabrication and these materials feasibility for mid-IR VBG applications.
