~2 μm laser output in short length highly Tm3+-doped tungsten tellurite glass double cladding fiber

Abstract

Highly Tm3+-doped tungsten tellurite glass double cladding fibers were prepared by using rod-in-tube method. A 306 mW laser output at ~2 μm was demonstrated from a 8.9 cm length of this fiber.
