On-bench validations of tunable lens based multifocal visual simulations

Abstract

SimVis is a tunable lens based see-through portable binocular visual simulator of multifocal corrections. It is shown using fast focimetry that accurate SimVis multifocal simulations are possible with iterative evaluation of the theoretical SimVis temporal profile and the correction of the dynamic characteristics of the tunable lens.
