Abstract

Rebellion Photonics has developed a new spectral imaging technology for continuous monitoring of fugitive gas emissions. Unlike current instruments, Rebellion Photonics’ snapshot spectral imaging technique, known as image mapping spectrometry, is capable of acquire a full spectral image (i.e. datacube) instantly with no scanning. This has several advantages for continuous monitoring such as elimination of motion artifacts due to gas plume movement, high sensitivity, low maintenance, and less frequent re-calibration.
