Scalability and Fabrication Tolerance Analysis of Reconfigurable Unitary Optical Converter

Abstract

We carry out numerical analysis and physical simulation of scalability and fabrication tolerance for programmable unitary converter, verifying that MSE of around - 20 dB can be achieved for matrix order of 20 and phase-shifter stage of 11 with tolerant fabrication errors.
