Experimental Demonstration of Security Evaluation via Hamming Distance in Quantum Noise Stream Cipher

Abstract

We introduce the metric of fractional Hamming distance to evaluate the security of quantum noise cipher system. Experimental results show that this metric is helpful to analysis and measurement in practical communications with finite-block lengths.
