Abstract

We successfully demonstrate 72 Gbit/s free-space data transmission with quasi-ring Airy vortex beams (QRAVBs). The obtained results show that QRAVBs can achieve better BER performance comparing with conventional OAM beams under limited-size receiving aperture and atmosphere turbulence.
