The Second Order Harmonic Optoelectronic Mixing in Modified Uni-traveling Carrier Photodetector

Abstract

Optoelectronic mixing of 3 GHz optical signal with 60 MHz RF signal in a modified uni-traveling carrier photodetector is studied experimentally. The second-order harmonic optoelectronic mixing products were obtained and the mechanism was demonstrated.
