Abstract

Tb/s transmission for future metropolitan networks is demonstrated thanks to an innovative photonic cost-effective and energy-efficient transmitter module integrating multiple directly modulated long-wavelength InP VCSELs targeting more than 50-Gb/s per channel, together with multi-core fiber propagation.
