Physical-layer Network Coding Based on Precoded OFDM in Relay-assisted Visible Light Communications

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate physical-layer network coding (PNC) based on precoded OFDM in a 2.16-Gbit/s asymmetric two-way-relay VLC network, and show that PNC enables full-duplex transmission with significantly improved performance while OCT-P-OFDM outperforms OFDM and DFT-S-OFDM.
