Up to 240Gbaud Single Sideband Signal Transmission with the Sub-Sampling Technique

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a 240Gbaud SSB OOK transmitter with 120GSa/s DAC and achieve a BER below 20% HD-FEC threshold. The sub-sampling rate is 0.5 by applying PR narrowing and a digital anti-aliasing brick-wall filter.
