Abstract

Although a "Self-Driving" network is still a long way to go, many time-consuming and complex tasks of network management are being automated thanks to virtualization of network services, advances in machine learning, and other data-driven solutions. This study highlights recent contributions towards network automation and gives directions for future research opportunities.
