Controlled Wave Structure of the Microfiber for Stretchable Optical Sensors

Abstract

We demonstrate a stretchable optical sensor based on the wavy microfiber. With great sensitivity and stretchability, the proposed sensor is employed for human respiration monitoring and the finger bend, preforming an application potential for human health monitoring and robotics.
