Abstract

An improved Volterra nonlinear equalizer (VNLE) for 50 Gb/s PAM4 IM/DD Transmission with 10G-Class optics is experimentally demonstrated and show >2 dB sensitivity improvement compared to the 3rd-order VNLE and saves the multiplication by 17%.
