Precoding Probabilistically Shaped DMT Transmission for Underwater Optical Wireless Communication

Abstract

We proposed and experimentally demonstrated precoding probabilistically shaped 64QAM-DMT transmission for underwater optical wireless communication systems in different underwater conditions. Over 19% capacity enhancement and over 4dB received optical power sensitivity improvement can be achieved.
