Abstract

A novel photonic scheme for multi-band dual-chirp waveforms generation is proposed. The bandwidth-quadrupling dual-chirp waveforms at five consecutive bands without high frequency components are simultaneously generated after balanced detection between the modulated and unmodulated lightwaves.
