Nonlinearity Compensation Technique by Spectral Clustering for Coherent Optical Communication System

Abstract

The nonlinear compensation algorithm using spectral clustering is experimentally demonstrated for 16-QAM coherent optical communication system. The spectral clustering outperforms density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise (DBSCAN) and K-means clustering.
