A QC-LDPC Design Considering the Limited Number of Decoding Iterations for Optical Communications

Abstract

We propose a QC-LDPC design by optimizing the degree distribution under a limited number of decoding iterations. Simulations show that it achieves better performance than conventional QC-LDPC for different code rates and iteration numbers.
