A Simple and Effective K-means Assisted OSNR Monitoring Scheme

Abstract

We propose a simple and effective OSNR monitoring scheme assisted by K-means algorithm. The simulation results show that it has high OSNR monitoring accuracy for PDM-QPSK/ 8QAM/16QAM/32QAM/64QAM signals, combining good tolerance for CD and PMD.
