Carrier-recovery-free Doubly Differential star-32-QAM for Metro Optical Burst Transmission Systems

Abstract

A doubly differential star-32-QAM scheme is proposed for removing the carrier recovery in metro optical burst transmission systems. Simulation result shows its improved frequency offset and linewidth tolerance with reduced computational complexity and processing latency.
