Miniature rectangular SNAP delay line fabricated with a femtosecond laser

Abstract

Rectangular SNAP microresonator is fabricated with a femtosecond laser. The slow light dispersive delay line based on this microresonator exhibits low losses (< 1.07 dB/ns) and 2.8 ns average delay time with 0.25 nm bandwidth.
