Abstract

Threshold based pruned retraining Volterra Equalization (TRVE) is experimentally demonstrated for VCSEL enabled 100 Gbps PAM-4 over 100 m MMF. Up to 94.2% and 88.0% complexity reduction has been achieved for B2B and 100 m.
