Multi-impairment Compensation by Machine-Learning based Clustering for Optical 16QAM-SCFDE Transmission

Abstract

We propose BIRCH to compensate multiple linear and nonlinear impairments for optical 16QAM-SCFDE transmission systems. Compared with K-Means clustering scheme, BRICH is more appropriate for high-order modulated system with large sample number and cluster number.
