Abstract

An ultra-narrow-band multi-channel perfect absorber is proposed based on Tamm states in a metal-dielectric-metal waveguide, whose core is a metal-photonic crystal (PhC)-metal-PhC-metal structure. The simulations demonstrate that four-channel perfect absorption of 0.99 can be achieved.
