Flat supercontinuum generation using a fluoride fiber pumped by mode-locked fiber laser

Abstract

We have reported flat supercontinuum generation using a ZBLAN fiber pumped by 1.55-μm mode-locked fiber laser. The generated supercontinuum exhibits good spectral flatness with fluctuation of <1.29 dB over the wavelength of 1571.8-1803.1 nm.
