Abstract

An IM/DD 1.176-Tb/s (168-Gb/s×7) PAM-8 signal transmission is experimentally demonstrated over a 10-m 7-core fiber with residual CD up to 64-ps/nm. The experimental results indicate that the MCFs are well-suited for the IM/DD system.
