We propose a cost-effective unrepeatered optical transmission system by utilizing PDM-PAM4 signal and Stokes vector receiver. At rate up to 112-Gb/s per carrier, the results show that the optimum signal launch power is ~4-dB lower for WDM channels transmission than single carrier over 200 km unrepeatered link, and the reach distance for WDM transmission is ~10% shorter than single carrier transmission at 7% FEC threshold.
