Relative Intensity Noise Characteristics of Single-mode Laser Array under Injection Locking

Abstract

Relative intensity noise (RIN) of single-mode diode laser array injection-locked by another diode laser is analyzed. The coherent combining phase has significant influence on the RIN at low frequencies, and increasing injection ratio can suppress this problem.
