A transmission of single channel 112-Gb/s 4-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM-4) signal is experimentally demonstrated on 12 km SMF link with only 50-GSa/s analog to digital convertor (ADC), achieving an electrical spectrum efficiency (SE) of 2.24 b/s/Hz.
